French Toast Casserole with Strawberries

I never, ever cook breakfast, so this was a nice treat for my family. The best part about this recipe is that you make everything the night before and in the morning, you just pull it out of the fridge and bake!

You will need:

1/2 loaf French bread
3 eggs
1 1/3 cups milk
1/2 T. vanilla
4 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Cinnamon Sugar
4 T. butter, melted
Sliced strawberries
Powdered sugar

1. Cut your french bread into small chunks and place them in a casserole dish.

2. Mix eggs, vanilla, sugar, salt, and milk together and pour mixture over french bread. Let sit in fridge overnight.

3. Bake in oven at 350 for 45 minutes.

4. Pull out, pour melted butter all over it, and generously sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake 10 more minutes

5. Serve with fresh strawberries, powdered sugar, and maple syrup!
