30 weeks

Welcome to my third trimester!

I'm ever so happy to be in my third trimester. I have about 9 more weeks to go until Baby Boy Mahaffey--officially named William Parker Mahaffey--makes his debut! (we're calling him Parker)I'm starting to feel ready--pregnancy is a neat experience, but I'm already wanting him to be here.

I'm feeling a lot more tired lately. Naps are becoming quite enjoyable. My belly has gotten quite large...I'm continuing to lather up with Palmers to keep the stretch marks at a minimum. I think I've noted a few possible new ones (sigh..) My hands and feet are really swollen, but I've found elevating my feet makes a WORLD of difference. I go to the bathroom CONSTANTLY. I've had MAYBE a few Braxton Hicks...nothing more than some cramps. Not complaining--some discomfort is to be expected! I'm just documenting these symptoms so that I remember how I felt.

I have completed my registries at Babys R Us and Target. I have purchased his crib and stroller and carseat. He already has his bassinett and his dresser. Things are coming together!

How far along? 30 weeks

Stretch marks? No new ones still, but I'm getting worried about a few places that seem like one might pop up

Sleep: Pretty good, I wake up on my back alot out of habit and have to roll over. Plus I get up a few times a night to go to the bathroom.

Best moment this past week: I love buying him little onesies on sale! Target and Old Navy are always fun! And I put together his travel system

Movement: Good grief. Elbows, feet, you name it

Food cravings: I keep craving but I don't know what I want.

Labor Signs: N/A

What I miss: Probably being thinner and having better coordination

What I am looking forward to: My baby showers! Yes, I'm having two!

Weekly Wisdom: REST! REST MORE! REST OFTEN!

Milestone: 30 weeks seems like a great number...and now we're in the last stretch-the third trimester!
